It would be so easy to make a joke of these Zimbabwe 100 Trillion Dollar Note for sale on Amazon, if only it wasn’t such a poignant reminder of how things can easily get out of hand if you’re not careful. These notes were never in circulation, but the country was in a very real fight against rampant hyperinflation for years, and even today has no currency of its own because of the problem.
