Classic Roland TR-909 Drum Machine Simulator – online beatz r neatz

The FL-909 is an online simulator of the classic Roland TR-909 drum machine (aka Rhythm Composer). Just try it for a second, I guarantee you’ll be hooked into creating some cool beatz.  FL909 attempts to simulate the original sound of the Roland TR-909. This drumcomputer hits the market 1984 and was a long time the state of art in house and techno productions. Tags: roland+TR-909, synthesizer, music

Katazukue – the table that tidies up for you

The Katazukue Table contains two conveyer belts which ‘periodically’ dump anything sitting on the table top to the floor. Now this may be an artist’s idea of tidying up, but where we come from the floor is not considered to be a great storage space. Although looking around me now….Anyhoo don’t expect to see this concept art piece on the production line anytime soon, eh? Funny video.  So Katazukue on one level supports our modern lifestyle by clearing itself for different activities during…

AeroGem Aerogel Pendants – high tech jewellry for all

AeroGem Aerogel Pendants are handcrafted with stained glass, silver Titanium end caps and 3mm of Aerogel ‘the lightest material in the world’. Tank Limo – you calling me a poser, mate?

The Tank Limo is kind of scary. OK, so it’s white, with a plush green interior and cocktail bar (with a Jacuzzi on the way), but it’s still scary. Wonder if you have any problems with doormen when you crawl out of this puppy on your way to the club? Between £1600 and £4000 per hire, and don’t expect to get anywhere very fast will you?  So at Christmas we pulled out the best armored personnel carrier from 30 we had…

Device Nine Six – engrave your precioussses

Device Nine Six offers custom engraving for your precious little gadget. Frankly if you’re that sad that you need to add something like this to a piece of plastic and metal which is probably already obsolete, well then the two of you deserve each other. No really. Prices range from $20 for an iPod Shuffle to $85.00 for a large laptop design. Not sure how you get the laptop to them, but we’ve got the feeling it probably involves parking…

Knit your own plush videogames console – and hug a Nintendo today

Let’s face it, there can be little more satisfying in this world than to sew your own plush Nintendo games console, complete with interchangeable screens, two games cartridges and all the controllers. Yowsers!  I made the system with an opening cover so that games can be put in and removed and I made Mario 3 and Duck Hunt games…I made a controller and a gun that can both be plugged in and unplugged…And here’s where my obsessive compulsive behavior comes in,…

Instinct – Russian crazy made Flash

Instinct. Silly Diversion Alert. It took me a while to figure out what this Flash based Russian site was about, but in the end I guessed it must be an advertising agency? It’s total eye candy nonsense, but if you’ve got a few moments take a look, it’s one of the most inventive and engaging interfaces I’ve seen for a while. And some of the ads are pretty good actually (hint: drop in the apple and toast). Wish I could speak Russki! Tags:…

Tamagotchi Version 4.0. The cutesy Tamagotchi franchise is 10 years old this year, and my goodness have they come a long way.
