Tenant Assured – the super invasive new tenant background check

We’re all getting used to having a clean social media presence for employers who may Google us but now we may have to make sure our social media faces are scrubbed clean to find a place to live. Tenant Assured is the service for landlords that will check your social media profiles to make sure you’ll pay your rent.

Boom Bx – why we all need to be very very careful with crowdfunding projects nowadays…

The crowdfunding market is huge and ripe for all sorts of exploitation, but we have to say we’re completely floored by the sheer chutzpah of the people behind a new Indiegogo project for a product called Boom Bx. This ‘breakthrough‘ speaker technology was apparently ‘sketched on a piece of paper’ by Nick Robinson and his grandfather who spent ‘countless hours‘ optimizing the design. Really? Really?

Sparkup will help lazy parents think they’re doing something right

Reading a bedtime story to your child is pretty important. It helps them recognize pictures, words, and will let them hear your voice right before they drift off to sleep. You get to know they’re sleeping peacefully, and they feel safe as they snooze. Of course, there are a lot of busy parents on the go who don’t get to spend as much time with their kids. Oftentimes they feel guilty, and try to find ways to make up for…

Slighter USB Electric Lighter – who knew fire could be rechargeable?

Starting a fire is not the easiest of tasks. If you’ve ever watched a survival show, it’s not a matter of finding two sticks and rubbing them together. Those of us who are still prepping for the zombie apocalypse know that you need to have as many different ways to get a fire going ready at all times.

The Thai Technique Back Massager – who thought this was a good idea?

There is a type of massage out there where you pay someone to essentially walk on your back. While that may work for some people, there are those who are really not fond of feet in general. If you are one of those people, and are curious to how this might feel, then you’ll be happy to know that there is still hope.

GrandDaddy Watch is the largest in the world, probably belongs to Father Time

Having a watch helps you tell time, but is not necessary to wear as we always go for our phones first. As this is one of the few socially acceptable accessories for men, it’s common for males to possess several of them. Some of the gentlemen I know seem to be a bit fanatical about them, wanting bigger, better time pieces that will both look impressive and tell the time.

Whack-A-Mole Space Invaders Keychain Game?

Thinking back on Space Invaders, I remember mashing a button as many times as I can whilst dodging lines raining down upon my head. As time ticks on, you get more and more jumpy, fearing alien invaders will come down and blow you to smithereens. The music (if you can call it that) isn’t helping of course, and when a flying saucer comes onto the screen, your focus is no longer shifted to destroying the hoard of enemies coming toward…

The Molami Twine headphone headband is for hairbangers

Part of being ‘trendy’ is having a style that’s effortless, which actually takes either a lot of work or a whole lot of money. Looking fashionable while listening to music is pretty high on the priority list for a lot of people, so you can only imagine all of the crazy things that are made to appeal to this target audience. If you have expensive tastes, want a hairband that costs $200, and also plays music, then you’re in for…

Hasselblad Lunar Mahogany Camera is for those that like to spend money

We all like having ‘nice stuff’ but you need to be a little picky about what you throw your hard earned cash at. However, there are those who like to throw caution, and money to the wind. If you’re a camera lover who can relate to that last sentence, then there’s a new purchase on the horizon.
