PedalPub – the self-propelled, community based refreshment hostelry

PedalPub. Derived from the Dutch FjetCafe, but definitely not to be confused with the CycleSeven conference bike. No alcohol while on the public highway, 16 passengers, 5 pedalling seats and a driver. Max speed 5 mph, avoid hills like the plague and don’t forget to bring along the $150.00 per hour rental fee. Have fun, crazy people!  Who should rent the PedalPub? Corporations for team building, group rewards, and promotions. A property management firm booked us for an ice cream…

Etch-a-Sketch Pen – perfect writing implement for that contract signing moment

Etch-a-Sketch Pen. Fun on the end of your ball-point pen. Very silly too of course, because who wants to waste time at work when you could be focusing totally on making more money, improving your career opportunities and generally staying on track for that important promotion? $5.50. [via GeekAlerts]  Turn the two control knobs of The Etch-a-Sketch Game Pen to create a drawing. Shake it up-side down to erase and try again…Despite their small size, the games work surprisingly well. The pens…

World Golf Tour – fun online golf game

World Golf Tour. This free online game is just a teaser for the full ‘sign up’ golf tournament game, but it’s fun. Nearest the flag, nice combination of timing and strategy. I like it because it’s simple, like me, and very quick. Which means I can play a round every so often in between important things like lunch and dinner. Oh and did I mention it looks really good too? [Via Metafilter]  San Francisco-based World Golf Tour (WGT) offers the world’s most photo-realistic online golf experience….

USB MSN Missile Launcher with Webcam – chat and shoot at your buddies at the same time

USB MSN Missile Launcher with Webcam. Oh yes, now you can not only chat to your friends on MSN, but shoot them with little foam pellets as well. How much fun can that be? You both need to have one of these missile launchers hooked up to play, and we’re betting that the webcam is not going to make it *that* easy to find your target, but pfaff, who cares? $49.00.  The new generation of USB Missile Launcher now goes with MSN!…

Puzzle Lock – open sesame

This Puzzle Lock looks like fun. Your mission Jim, should you choose to accept it, is to open the padlock and then return everything back as it was. Oooh, tricky! £54.95/$115.40.  This is a really nice puzzle. To all appearances, it is a solid – and quite heavy – brass padlock. However one key has been locked to the padlock, and the other key is broken into two parts. Your challenge is to first open the padlock, and then to put…

Magic Teaspoon – remember, there is no spoon…

A section of the Magic Teaspoon handle is made of Nitinol (NIckel TItanium Naval Ordnance Laboratory, or shape memory metal) and is set to bend through 90 degrees when placed under a hot tap (or into a cup of tea). Just the thing to amaze the girls and get all that retro Uri Geller love, eh? £23.99/$50.38.  Offer someone this teaspoon to stir their tea – as soon as they dip it into the hot liquid, the spoon bends through 90 degrees!…To…
