Satellite radio play away.

The Ami WorldSpace ASR-WS20 digital receiver. So tell me, good people all, what’s the thing with these satellite radios then? Is it the huge number of quality stations? The rugged good looks of the DJs? Perhaps the svelte and oh-so-pocket friendly nature of the radio receivers? Answers on a map of global coverage to… £119.00/$211.81.  The Ami WorldSpace digital receiver is light and transportable, and filled with exciting features: * 10 memory presets for fast access to your favourite channels * LCD:…

The MBridge.

The MBridge wireless media and data hub. Hmm…I’m reading this but still not sure what it is exactly. OK, let’s try from the top. It’s a data transfer device which can copy, swap etc data between different devices like iPods, PSPs, digicams etc. Because it’s Wi-Fi, it also lets you upload material from portable devices to online services like Shutterfly. Because it’s Linux powered it has IM support for chat too. Yowsers, what a terribly clever chappie. Available for pre-order only….

USB Data Transfer Device.

The USB Data Transfer Device. This has got to be one of the easiest ways around for transferring data from one PC to another. Plug the cable into both computers and bingo, you can immediately start the transfer, nothing to install or configure. Nice. $49.99.  The USB Data Transfer Device is a new product that offers the perfect solution – simply plug it in and start transferring your…

Bulb changer.

The Cherry Picker Motorized Bulb Changer. I cannot, simply cannot believe that it has taken humanity *this long* to come up with something so screamingly obvious and so mind-bogglingly useful. 2006 for goodness sake. Sheesh! $89.95.  Soaring ceilings are great, but changing bulbs on those high fixtures can be a safety issue. Instead of chancing a chair, or risking a stepladder, keep your feet firmly planted on the ground! Our cordless remote Cherry Picker uses a motorized head mounted to a telescoping…

The NaviGPS.

The Navi GPS. Credit card sized GPS unit which will get you home – or away – in a rather rudimentary way. But before you scoff children, consider this. Electronic bath water cleaner.

The Electronic Bath Water Cleaner. Kind of like a pool cleaner for your bath. Without the chlorine. Or dead flies. Contains a negative ion ceramic ball, far infrared generator, active carbon filter and an anti-bacterial agent. Not only that but it maintains the water at a constant temperature via a circulating pump. Genius. The only slight…ahem…worry, is having all that electricity hovering so close to delicate and extremely naked anatomical bits. But who dares wins, eh? Around $445.00 yen-wise.

DIY security.

The Lukwerks Self Install Security Camera System. Rather clever tech avoids cables and complex wireless set ups in favour of HomePlug networking using electricity wall sockets as nodes. So, we designed a system that does not require dedicated cabling or complex wireless network configurations. Dedicated cabling requires time and lots of effort – acquiring and…
