Goodbye Batteries.

The Goodbye Batteries magnetic powered LED bicycle lights. Attach magnets to spokes of wheels. Attach lights to bicycle frame. Pedal. No batteries used, but bear in mind we’re talking flashing lights for visibility here, rather than bright lights for vision. Still for £24.95 a pair, not a bad business proposition now the nights are closing in.  The arm fastens to the wheel axle using the wheel nut on the bike. The powerful magnets are slotted onto the spokes of the…

Golden eye.

The LG LH-C643 24 carat gold-plated home theater system. Don’t bother asking the price unless you have a 5.1 Amex card. Sigh, OK, so let’s pretend that it’s over $130,000 or so. Give or take.

The Pause. The Pod. The Music.

The Pause. The world’s first iPod compatible bed. And presumably the largest iPod dock in the known universe? [Via DigitalReviews.net]  Optional accessories include a minimalist side lamp and aluminium tray, but perhaps the most exciting feature is how the shelves can seamlessly accommodate an iPod and Bose speaker system. Pause is crafted from solid New Zealand Rimu with aluminium detailing.

Underwater snapper.

According to Time magazine, the 5 megapixel SeaLife DC500 underwater camera is just about the best thing since sliced bread if you want to go around photographing the flaura and fauna of the oceans. And who are we to argue. Especially when we learn, to our delight, that it features a ‘Shark Mode’, for faster and sharper pictures of moving objects. Hmm…perhaps we’ll stick to pics of Aunt Matilda asleep on the sofa in a state of Post Traumatic Turkey Disorder….

The Analog Digital Watch.

The Analog Digital Watch is quite clever. Looks just like a standard watch until you press a button, then presto, some nice retro red LCD numerals pop up. Makes you feel all nostalgic, doesn’t it? No? $189.95.  At first glance…this looks like a nice stainless steel watch….but when you press the button, it produces a beautiful red LED segment display!…When the LED display is off, there is no hint on the watch face that this feature exists.

Cyberphone F2.

The Cyberphone F2 Wireless Skype phone. Strangely enough, this wireless 2.4GHz, USB 2.0 Skype phone is kind of hard to find unless you’re actually looking for it, which thanks to Ferrety reader Janpiet, we were. Ten meter range, LCD display and 8 hour talktime complete the picture. Nice looking too, ain’t it?

Pump an’ slump.

The Nemo Sako is my kind of tent. Forget about tent poles, ropes, tangled encounters with wild creatures, this puppy is a pump up tent. Yes, indeedy, put the kettle on!  Sako is designed for the weight conscious backpacker who isn’t ready to sacrifice comfort. Win, Lose or Draw.

The Win, Lose or Draw Video Game. OK, I’m gonna admit it, I love Pictionary. There I’ve said it. Yep, despite the fact that I can’t draw for toffee, I really enjoy trying. Which is why we’re featuring this little electronic version which you plug into a TV set. It just looks like excellent fun. Sure you can do it with paper, but where’s the neck craning fun in that? $47.98. [of course you can always indulge yourself by playing the…
