Crypt-a-Cell.

GSM Crypt-a-Cell. Just how paranoid are you? Enough to clip this tacky encryption dongle onto your mobile phone? No, thought not. Oh, and did we mention the other party needs one on their handset too? Or that it only seems to work on old Sony Ericsson phones? Pfaff, at £646.25 it’s probably cheaper and easier to just learn Klingon.  The Crypt-a-Cell is designed to encrypt, to military level, outgoing and incoming, voice communications over the GSM network, by creating an encrypted communications channel…

Mr Soccer Robot Football.

Mr Soccer Robot Football. Not really much more to add, is there? £14.95.  The idea is to manoeuvre your dribbling droids around the pitch via a nifty transmitter. Using the controller’s forward, reverse, left, right and shoot buttons the object is to score more goals than your opponent. Yes, we know that’s flippin’ obvious, but judging by some recent international performances we thought it was worth reiterating.

Splish, splash…

The Splash Wheeler R/C amphibious buggy. The air-filled tyres really love water, see? Gotta say the movie makes it look just like a ridiculously cute Labrador puppy splashing around, but hey…whatever floats yer boat. Arf! £49.99.  The Splash Wheeler is a super fast (13.5kmh) and tough land buggy – but if you see a pond, pool or a massive puddle, just keep on driving, because this puppy loves the water. The fat air-filled tyres churn through the water propelling it along, and it steers in…

Thin ink.

The Uni-Ball Signo Bit 0.18. $2.50. Apparently there’s a pen war going on in Japan, and this pen is winning. Why? Well it has a tip which is the thickness of two human hairs and is teeny enough to inscribe an opus on a grain of rice. What I want to know is how the company developed the super thin ink to go with it. [Thanks Tim]
