Make a room look flawless with the Recessed Outlet Cover Plate

You’ve just finished setting up your perfect entertainment system. Everything is sitting just about where you want it, except for the fact that you wish it could be flush with the wall. The only thing standing between you and that seamless-looking glory is one fat plug that juts out from the outlet.

The Back of the Door Cabinet will take up some wasted space

While we don’t want our homes to be topped to the brim with junk, we don’t want to waste the space that we have. For those of us on limited square footage, every storage space counts, and you have to make the most of every nook and cranny. If you just like to keep things in their own spot, then you know that organization is key, and you need the right tools to do it.

Glow In The Dark Bike – light up the night

Cycling home at night can be dangerous, but necessary. There are all sorts of precautions we like to take, whether that be reflectors, lights, or otherwise. However, that doesn’t always mean we feel like we’re going to be seen. You could always deck out your bicycle so that anyone within a half mile radius can see you, but you might want to go with something a little more subtle.

Mocoro Fur Ball Vacuum is like a tribble that cleans

What’s one chore that we all have to do but don’t want to? Cleaning. It’s always on the “to-do” list, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find someone to do it for you without having to pay them big bucks. There’s always options like the Roomba or its variants, but they are just so mechanical and unwelcoming.

Sphericam captures your entire world

We all seem to have a fascination of recording the world around us. Each moment that passes will never come again, so we constantly take photos, video, and write down current events to make a long-standing log of everything we’ve seen and heard. However, even with this incessant memory-making, we can’t capture everything around us…or can we?

The Defender takes sandbags to a new dimension

Climate change is here. Whether or not you believe it, the evidence is plain – on-going severe droughts, steadily rising temps, rising sea levels and more frequent severe weather events like tornadoes, earthquakes and flooding. This last challenge has been addressed one of the 2012 red dot design concept winners. The Defender “sandbag” is designed for flood control. This innovative “bag” doesn’t contain sand like traditional sandbags. Made with absorbent recycled paper fiber, one long edge of its shell of…

Rechargeable Card Speaker helps boost your tunes

We all want a little boost in sound when we can get one. Louder music that fills the air, with crisp highs and lows that don’t drop out. Our phones and MP3 players can only give us so much, and if you want to be surrounded with music rather than plugging in with earphones, you’re going to need an external speaker that can travel with you throughout the day.

Paper Straws – What’s the point?

We all get a “to-go” beverage every now and then. It’s not something we really give much thought to, but there are a lot of materials that go into the cups, lids, and straws that house your beverage. If this factoid bothers you, then there’s a way that you can help lessen your contribution to a landfill. It may be a tiny gesture, but these Paper Straws are both biodegradable and compostable. They have designs that were inspired by birch…

Mattress Genie turns your bed into a recliner

Not everyone sleeps the same way. Some prefer to lay on their side or back, and others snooze on their stomach. Whatever position you sleep in, it’s normally in a horizontal line, but that doesn’t work for everyone. If you would prefer to sleep at an incline, you’ll need to either have an army of pillows, or a way to raise the head of your bed.

Give Mondays – an anonymous community of givers who start the week with a random act of kindness

There are times when you feel proud to be a member of our crazy, chaotic, insane civilization, and often these periods result from discovering that people are capable of kindness for no reason at all, other than it feels right. It kind of restores your faith in humanity and demonstrates that it’s not all ugly out there.

iSpO2 Pulse Oximeter gives you quick readings while you’re on the gogogo!

There are certain mechanisms in our body that we don’t really pay attention to. One such is the amount of oxygen in our blood. If we don’t have the right amount of oxygen saturation, it can be Bad News Bears. Thankfully, we don’t really have to worry about this too often, as it’s mainly mountain climbers and pilots who would have to worry about it. If you should fall into either of those categories though, you’ll be pleased to know…

PaleoBarefoots turn your feet into armored tanks

We don’t really have much use for wearing chainmail anymore. Long ago it protected great warriors against oncoming attacks, sometimes successfully, sometimes not. Today, this sort of protection is usually only worn for reenactments and LARPing. It has an attractive property to it though, and could be made as a jewelry of sorts. What about making it into a pair of shoes?

Hot Chocolate On A Stick will melt your cares away

When it’s dreadful and chilly outside, all you want to do is hunker down and be warm. Doing this will likely include a multitude of blankets, a fireplace (or space heater), and a warm beverage. Hot chocolate is a tried and true drink of choice for this season, and there are a variety of ways to go about making it. Mixes for hot chocolate are great and all, but they always end up grainy at the bottom of the cup.
