The latest way to recycle – turning fishnets into skateboards

Plastic waste has become a HUGE global problem, particularly in our oceans. It’s become a scourge for marine and wildlife. Once useful fishnets are now being discarded and amount to 10% of the oceans’ plastic waste. Bureo Skateboards is trying to change this. Jak Bank – interest free ethical borrowing becomes a reality in Sweden

Ever wished there was a bank which was actually driven by more humanitarian goals than merely making more profit? Motion-Sensing LED Track Lights – Providing light at night, but not too much light.

Night lights don’t seem to put out too much light when you test them out during the day, but those little bulbs can seem like a miniature sun when you’re trying to get some shut-eye in a dark room. Two choices – Wake others up by shattering the dark with that bright light or fumble around in the dark. Oh wait. Now there’s a third choice.

Telescoping Selfie Arm – Put some distance between the phone and your face.

The not-so-humble selfie has been elevated to an art form, becoming a standard part of social media. Unfortunately, most selfies give a too-close view up the subject’s nose because the phone is so close to your face. Now, you can add a little distance to your selfie.
