Old Spice – probably the greatest viral internet campaign ever

You know I don’t usually like adding to the noise, but this new Old Spice viral ad and marketing campaign is just too delicious to miss. The whole thing revolves around ex NFL pro footballer Isaiah Mustafa and a team of comedy writers who are amazing. I won’t say any more except to mention that taking the ad and making it into a Twitter response medium is nothing short of brilliant. I wonder if it had anything to do with…

Retroshare – open source P2P program offers secure file sharing

NeighborGoods – share your stuff with your friends and locals

NeighborGoods is a little bit like a cross between Craigslist and Freecycle, but instead of selling or giving your stuff away, you share it. You can choose whether to share with friends and neighbors or grab money from others by renting. As with all of these services it will stand or fall by the amount of traction the community gets, but certainly the design is clean and attractive enough to help it grow. Oh and of course the items on offer…

It’s just about the most unreal thing you could ever imagine a government doing, as long as they deliver on the popular vote. There are a couple of problems of course. We the people aren’t that bright are we? Currently in the top 5 of the ratings charts on the list to repeal unnecessary laws is ‘increase motorway speeds…
