Electrically Assisted Enhanced Remineralization – at last, an end to painful dentist visits

Yay, the fear of taking a trip to the dentist could be a thing of the past. Most people are terrified of the dentist’s chair, and quite rightly. All those needles and drills are enough to send even Matt Damon running. But that could all be a thing of the past if Electrically Assisted Enhanced Remineralization, a new dental procedure from Reminova, an offshoot of King’s College in London, takes off. It’s a new non-invasive treatment that helps your tooth…

New bladeless wind turbine will cut bird deaths

Renewable energy use is rapidly growing across the globe. But as with every innovation, there’s always a downside which in the case of wind turbines is high bird mortality. Somewhere between 140,000 and 328,000 birds die each year from collisions with wind turbines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqcNc9bKlNY But hope is on the horizon.
