It’s a sad fact of life that there are times when we need to keep track of people wherever they are. For instance the elderly and mentally infirm, who may go wandering by accident and put themselves in harm’s way. Up until recently the main solutions involved bulky and inconvenient tracking bracelets or anklets, but now there’s a more elegant and discrete solution.
There was a time when you needed to spend literally thousands of dollars to get some decent night vision goggles or cameras. In fact the tech was so expensive that only law enforcement and the armed services could afford to stump up the cash for this sort of kit. But that was last week.
Ever wondered how long you’ve got to go on this mortal plane? Ever thought about whether you were living in a country which was better or worse for your life expectancy profile? If so, you’re in good company, since most of us secretly would like to know what our long term odds are, y’know just so we can make plans.
There are so many different accessories for your phone nowadays that it’s a bit difficult to pick which ones would actually be useful. Apart from headphones and cases, you’ll probably want something along the lines of a stand, and a tool to keep your device looking shiny would be nice as well. However, these are things that would be silly to buy separately as it’s just going to be more that you’ll have to tote around in your bag.
It is a well known fact that dogs love bacon flavored treats. They are also quite fond of popping bubbles for whatever reason. While these two tidbits of information may not seem like they correlate to one another, you’d be surprised at how they fit together.
If you’ve ever gone on vacation somewhere new, you probably brought along a camera to capture all of of those sites and special moments. Unfortunately, the special moments get ruined when you have to stop everything to reach for your camera, then make sure everything is posed just right. Not to mention you have to lug around a bulky camera in your pocket. What if you could just enjoy your trip, and still have awesome pictures at the end?
One of the biggest problems with most of these solar charger products on the market at the moment is they don’t work. Simply put, it’s almost impossible to generate enough power from the sun’s rays on a small solar panel to keep the battery topped up on anything other than tiny devices. The result is people get fed up and simply charge the battery from the mains power socket instead.
Everywhere you look there’s proof that the smartphone revolution is transforming the way we do things, and nowhere is immune from the effect. Just ask the digital camera manufacturers or companies making MP3 players. The latest of the bastions to be conquered is the car, and we’re now starting to see some very interesting vehicle apps arrive, which deliver very sophisticated functionality for free or at very low cost.
We all need sleep. But sometimes it’s hard to get, particularly after a hard day working and too much caffeine, stress and excitement. So we turn to aids, drugs, alcohol or other ways to help us wind down. Most of the time we know it’s not doing a lot for our health, but the need is great.
It feels like TokyoFlash is always coming up with new ways to wow us with crazy watch ideas. We’ve seen some of their work in the past, and they never seem to fail in making an interesting new concept. I don’t know about you, but for me, waiting to see new items from them holds the same anticipation as waiting for a new video game would.
“Don’t judge a book by its cover.” We’ve heard that quote over a thousand times, and sometimes we still do it. We’ll look at a gadget or gizmo and pass it over before really giving it a chance to do its thing. Maybe it would be really impressive, but you can’t tell that just from seeing its exterior.
If your kids have their own phone, it’s probably pretty difficult to pry it away from them. Even though we all use our phones for a major part of the day, there are times when you want to have mobile-free time at home. The only way to do that is to take all of the cell phones out of the picture, but how do you make sure no one is cheating and hiding it in their pocket?
Ever wished you could record and save a cell phone call for later on? Perhaps you need to log an address or phone number and don’t have paper and pencil. Or you’ve been given some complicated instructions by your parole officer you know you’ll never remember correctly. The trouble is there’s no easy way to record a call, even using onboard software on the phone. Now, however, there’s an option.
With the days getting shorter and the nights drawing in, it’s about time to start thinking about important stuff, like how to make the best use of our leisure hours now we can’t surf the turf and roam the foam. We’ve always enjoyed finding cool games to play on the computer, so here’s a new small selection of five free games in different genres for your enpleasurement.
