Webasto Thermo Top E Parking Heater – warm up your parked car via cell phone and stay cosy

Webastoparkingheater

Webasto Thermo Top E Parking Heater. It’s one of those ideas which seems obvious enough, but rarer than rocking horse droppings. A car heater which runs off a tiny amount of fuel and which heats up the car before you get in it. No it doesn’t start up the engine like the BMW pre-heat system, it’s actually a fully self-contained unit which can be switched on remotely via voice, SMS or timer. We’re talking 4.2 kW and max 60 minute heat period. Mmm…toasty. Around $1695.00.

The water circuit is heated and pre-heats the engine. The heat is introduced into the heating and ventilation system. Snow and ice melt. The engine starts with no problems. The car is cosy and warm and you have a clear view from the start.

Blimey, for that price wouldn’t you just get a Clifford alarm fitted with intellistart?

you are missing the whole point of pre heated engine . cold oil takes time to warm up enuff to flow or even be pumped to the top of the motor where it's mostly needed to lube the moving parts . You try to get up with out a cup of coffee and think about it.
