Vintage Flash Camera Clock – newsreel junkies’ timepiece comes alive

Vintageflashcameraclock

Vintage Flash Camera Clock. Today is retro day, and dang if we don’t think this is sure a purtey piece of techno-giz. A 1950’s flash pop paparazzi style camera converted to a shiny new time telling clock. It’s handmade, nostalgically expensive and makes me want to shout, “Over here Mr President” repeatedly in a very loud voice. $165.00. [Via Crave]

You’ll feel like smiling whenever you check the time with this wonderfully whimsical clock made from a vintage flash camera. This creative and nostalgic clock is handmade by Minnesota artist Debra Dresler, who aims to tell a story and give ‘new life to old spirits’ through her functional art pieces. Perfect for photography junkies and antique lovers will add personality and historic charm to any home.
