BedFan – the bedtime air conditioner for those sultry summer nights

Bedfan2

The BedFan promises to deliver cool soothing air to your bodily parts as you swelter betwixt your summer sheets. No more kicking off the bedclothes and suffering the torment of a thousand prickly rashes ravishing your radiant…[enough with the alliteration already…Ed]. $99.95 and it’s good night from us.

Placed at the foot of the bed, Bed Fan sends a calm breeze directly between your sheets. The cool breeze travels between your top sheet and bottom sheet and bathes sleepers in a stream of cool, comforting air. And it keeps you cool by pushing out the body heat that gets trapped beneath the covers, causing you to sweat.

We had to do something like this when we lived in Toronto in the 60s. We attached the the bottom end of the top sheet to a chair and had a fan blowing into the bed. Luckily air conditioning came along, and we could afford it a few years later. I would have bought one of these at the time, although $99 was two week’s wages at the time.

  2. Er… if it’s that hot, why would you be sleeping under a sheet?
