Why is Tree-Nation a business? Tree-Nation was created with the idea to do good, as simple as that. And we firmly believe that we will achieve this much better by being a business. Why? Because we, as a business, do not focus on short term relief but rather on long-term sustainable development. An example: we don’t just plant any trees species, but trees that produce something and have a development impact thus creating revenue for the local community (e.g., by producing fruits and medicinal ingredients). This will lead to better exploitation of the park, the trees and will thus result in an overall more positive impact for the local community.
