ReleaseSearch – another search engine for unconventional Google stuff

Releasesearch

Marco sends me word of Release Search, which aims to be a best of breed Google clownsuit search engine. Just to remind you, these are search tools that offer an easy way to filter out and find downloadable files that it’s hard to isolate using the plain vanilla Google page.

Marco tells me that his product is better than the others because it only leads to downloadable files which don’t need a login. I tried it and it seems to work well. I’m not a huge fan of blue/white text on black, but we’ll let that pass, eh? Worth a look-see.

Nigel is the managing editor of the Red Ferret, as well as a freelance columnist for the Sunday Times newspaper in London. Loves tech and fancies himself as a bit of a futurist, but then don’t we all?
