Planter Speaker – get yourself some sound in-plants

Image

Speakers shaped as pot plants aren’t exactly new, but why hide your cleverly disguised outdoor speakers when you can make them part of the patio? This Planter Speaker is not only a disguised, full sounding speaker, it can also hold plants, real live growing ones!

The pot itself is made from tough and durable polyethylene with a faux terracotta finish. The inside of the planter is tough enough to allow plants to grow and is acoustically insulated to stop your geraniums from getting a headache or worse, from all dat Drum&Bass .

Underneath the plant bit is a 6.5″, 35W RMS weather-proof speaker which broadcasts music in 360. The speaker itself is polycarbonate so it’s as tough as the pot and the whole thing is completely weatherproof. You can even hang it if you wish, the only thing you have to worry about is what to do with the wires.

Whether entertaining guests or simply relaxing on the patio, a product that sounds as good as it looks. Full, rich sound broadcasts 360 degrees while the enclosure may contain a Phoenix Palm, full-bloom annuals or hanging vines of Lilac. Put in your favorite large or small plants and water as needed, then put on your favorite tunes and relax.

  • I have a pair of these and they work great. They’re kept on the deck with all the other flowers and the speakers blend right in. Put out good sound too.
