Cold Seat – sit back kids and chill out

Image

Strapping children into boiling hot car seats in summer is not a great idea. So a Texas mum mom has come up with the Cold Seat to prevent her littlies from sublimating minutes after they’ve been put into the car.

The Cold Seat is filled with sealed liquid pouches that can be removed from the car seat and stored in the freezer. When the time comes to pop junior in the hot car, you whip the pouches out of the freezer, stash them in the cold seat and let them cool the whole thing down. Junior is now safe from the hot seat and much more comfortable. Just don’t forget to remove the pouches before you strap in the child. There’s nothing more embarrassing than taking your child to casualty with hypothermia or frostbite in summer. “No officer you’re not listening to me, I didn’t lock my child in the freezer, I forgot to take the freezers out of my child seat … never mind.”

In the hot weather months, a vehicle’s internal temperature can soar to over 100 degrees. By using our freezable seat cooler, there’s no more waiting for the air conditioner to cool that seat down. It’s ready, it’s cool, and it’s safe! Using freezable ice packs tucked into an attractive cover, Cold Seat provides a durable, reliable, and affordable way to protect your child from burns or other heat-related injuries. Just by covering the car seat – it’s that simple!

  • Just a few comments about the cold seat. The entire seat is put in the freezer. You do not take the cold pouches out each time you use the seat, in fact they never need to come out. The seat fits on top on the car seat when baby is out of seat. Baby does not sit on the cold seat. This is an awesome product!
