Learn Chinese Characters. Not that we want to suggest anything, of course, but now may be a good time to think about downloading this little freeware program to brush up on the old Chinese lingo a bit. Just in case the credit crunch doesn’t pan out as expected, know what we mean?
LCC (Learn Chinese Characters) is a multimedia program which lets you learn it by yourself. For each character entry, it gives the English definitions, Pinyin and Zhuyin annotations, cross reference of simplified/traditional character (when applicable), the radical, the number of strokes, word/phrase examples and their definitions. You can also hear the character pronounced through the speaker and see an animation of the writing.
