Body Stick Deodorant – the everlasting underarm odour destroyer

Bodystickdeodorant

The Body Stick Deodorant is billed as the everlasting odour destroyer. Based around a mysterious ‘secret formula’ disc of steel, the retailers claim that it will remove perspiration odour after rubbing the area for 20 – 30 seconds. No mess, no stings, no stains. We’re reserving judgement until we’ve actually experienced an odour free afternoon running a local Marathon. £19.95.

The idea of a non-chemical deodorant that lasts a lifetime may seem a bit far-fetched. However, the amazing Body Stick is just that, tackling odours without chemicals or fragrances as well as being totally skin-friendly and non-allergenic. * The only ‘ingredient’ is a disc of secret-formula stainless steel (the German manufacturer won’t tell us more for commercial reasons) * Destroys odour molecules as soon as it comes into contact with moisture…

  • Hmmm, nanosilver methinks? Ye gods what would a life time of using that do to you?

    *shivers*

  • Oh purlease! Don’t you dare try and hoodwink these good people with talk of marathons.

We both know you get out of breath running a bath. The last time you ran anywhere was in the far background as the Beatles crossed Abbey Road.

    Marathon? Pah! :)

  • There is nothing ‘special’ about what is basically a stainless steel alloy. A basic search of the web turns up many of these “magic” lumps of metal. You just wash your hands with these things and odors vanish. How I hate the “We have a special process” mysticism to something that is a basic scientific principle…

    IT ACTUALLY WORKS honest

    • Glad to hear it works! I'm thinking of buying one. However, how long does each application last? Can it be used in the morning and be effective until evening?
