I would love to know where they are $44 as well.
These have been around for a while but the only place you can buy them is eBay, and they are NOT $44; the cheapest ones are around $170.
What does this do to the screen? Touchscreens are fairly durable whereas my ordinary LCD seems rather fragile. Even at $44, this would seem too much to end up with a scratched up screen that cost $$$ to replace.
Pick up a $5 screen protector for your laptop on ebay while you are there.

This company has a website. Look up Duo pen and it will come up. Its $200 for a new one in USA and it looks pretty good. Its felt tip and retractable, so it wont damage the screen.
