Sumo Paint – gorgeous free online image editor

Sumopaint

Sumo Paint is a gorgeous free online image editing program from Finland which comes with just about everything you need to create cool stuff. OK, so it’s not going to rock the pro users away from Photoshop, but for the price it’s an awesome product.

What I particularly like about it, is the fact that it doesn’t feel like it’s an online app. Apart from the slight delay when it loads up an image file, it looks and feels like a normal software product, snappy and crisp, which to me is the sign of good coding. If this is where online applications are heading, then watch out software companies.

SUMO Paint offers professional and easy to use tools for creating and editing images within a browser. SUMO Paint is a free image editing software that gives you the opportunity to create, edit and comment images online with powerful tools and layer support. SUMO Paint 1.0 will be published in January 2009. There are already over 750 000 unique users (15.1.2009) and the community is growing super fast at the moment. Thank you so much for joining SUMO Paint.
