Blowit Fans – cooling where you need it most

blowit fan

Blowit make a range of articulated fans designed to be attached to music stands for keeping musicians cool. They have 3 speeds and you can adjust the head of the fan via the gooseneck as well as direction of the air coming out of the fan. The makers claim they fit most stands and drum racks and can be hauled around in a standard music hard case. They’re also very quiet though that probably won’t impress the drummers.

The mounting clamp can also keep the fan handy for cooling things like amplifiers or drummers or even for tousling the hair of your models during a studio photoshoot. They run on mains power and can be purchased from the manufacturer for $US69.99.

Finally … personal cooling designed for the musician, with specific form and function.

* Stay dry, comfortable and neat
* Avoid heat fatigue
* No need for a drum towel
* UL approved powerful 3-speed motor
* UL approved heavy duty grounded power cable
* Features directional and angle adjustments

  • Some years back, while living in New York, I worked for a well know electronics supplier. One day a guy came in and asked for about 10 muffin type fans. As I was finishing the transaction he told me he worked as a facilities manager at a well know airport in the area, and these fans were for the ATC staff, to keep their "most important equipment" cool and comfortable…. He said it gets quite warm under the radar screens. Looks like the same basic idea.
