Bookmooch – or how to be nice on the web

bookmoochredux small Bookmooch or how to be nice on the web

We featured Bookmooch way back in 2006 when it launched, and it’s great to see this free online book swap club go from strength to strength. What’s particularly nice about the service – and I use it far less than I should – is the fact that programmer and founder John Buckman is determined to keep it free, simple and valuable for the users.

It’s quite hard to find that kind of integrity on the web nowadays, so we’re just flagging the service again to encourage more people to sign up, offer donations to his running costs and generally help out. And here’s a personal thank you from me, John.
