Bionic Books – small business accounting gets a slick Web 2.0 makeover

Bionicbooks

Bionic Books is designed to bring small business accounting into the modern age. It offers multi-national, secure online accounting functionality, all wrapped up in an easy to understand interface. The cool thing about the service is the fact that the devs have thrown in all the features you’d want as a small business, it’s not just an invoicing package, or only cash flow or whatever.

It’s not easy to make fully featured applications easy to understand and use, but this one works well. There’s just enough detail in the features to make this a genuinely valuable accounts package and yet the interface is sparse enough not to be intimidating. And it’s really easy to be intimidated by accounting stuff, eh? There’s a free single user version with no strings, and a full multiuser one for £60 a year. If it can save on accountant fees it’s a total bargain! Nice!

Bionic Books was written especially for small business accounting. We’re a small business and originally Bionic Books was created for our small business accounting needs…Most accounting software is difficult to understand – accounting software written for bean counters. We’re different because everything in our accounting software is explained non-technically.
