Portable Ubuntu for Windows is a free version of Ubuntu Linux that runs in a Window on your Windows machine. That’s pretty darn cool. If you’ve ever wanted to try Linux but were afraid of the hassles, now’s your chance to dip your toe in without major upheaval.
