Minutes Please – control your web usage using the…ah…web

minuteplease small Minutes Please control your web usage using the...ah...web

Minutes Please is a new service which lets you set up time limits on specific website addresses. Wanna cut down on your use of Reddit? Just enter in a URL like reddit.com, plus a time limit (say 3 hours) and the service will give a 1 minute warning and then shut off your enjoyment by closing the popup window or tab you’re viewing. Yes, yes it’s basic stuff, but for us weak willed time-wasters it could be a cool way to grab back some sort of control. Oh and there’s a bookmarklet. Nice.

Different ways to use this site: 1. Just type below 2. Enter your request as part of the URL: * 5.minutesplease.com/example.com * minutesplease.com/1hr15m/example.com * minutesplease.com/1day/ (opens a blank window) * minutesplease.com/example.com (defaults to 10 min) 3. Drag this link to your bookmark toolbar…
