Grossan HydroPulse Nasal Irrigator – the lean clean nose machine

Hydropulse

The Grossan HydroPulse Nasal Irrigator shoots red hot…warm saline through your nasal cavities to flush out all the stuff which can cause problems like sinusitis and congestion. From here it all sounds a bit yeeeuw, but we’re probably just a bit over sensitive about hot liquids spurting out of orifices ever since we watched a Blackadder rerun during a tea break at work. Ruined a keyboard too. $149.95.

HydroPulse sends gentle pulses of warm saline through the nasal passages, helping flush out allergens, germs and mucus. But the HydroPulse is much more than just a cleanser! The therapeutic pulsations help restore the movement of the nasal cilia, one of the body’s key defense mechanisms.

I would say my fingers would out perform this any day of the week!

Have you seen how much water is in the reservoir!!!! We all want pristine cilia but there are limits (probably about a pint I'd think)

This type of irrigation is terrific BUT I went through 2 of these in a little over a year it is very cheaply made and there are many reports of the product failing so buyer beware. Terrible factory support. There are others like it out there that seem better.

The concept of pulsating irrigation is GREAT better than all others that being said the GROSSAN unit is JUNK plain and simple. I have spent almost $300 on 3 of them over 4 years they don’t last more than a year. The manufacturer Hydro Med that is Dr. Grossan Company is some small hole in the wall outfit that never answers their phones and is impossible to reach. If you email them they won’t replace the irrigator and prefer to blame the customer for causing problems when it’s the cheapo design and poor quality. A new unit is out there a SinuPulse when this one breaks I will trade up to the newer one that has a longer warranty
