Phex is an open source Gnutella network file sharing client that runs on all platforms. It’s fast, efficient and has a nice community function so you can share files between your friends and family easily and quickly. The interface is usable and it works well, so definitely worth a bookmark or download.
Phex is a free file sharing program running on the Gnutella Network. Additionally to plain worldwide searching, downloading and sharing files, it enables you to * create private networks * distribute files decentrally * send your file-list to your friends. Phex is written in Java, so it runs on Windows, MacOSX and GNU/Linux, as well as on every other plattform which supports a Java VM. It is free software and distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL).
