BlueAnt have been making sunvisor bluetooth handsfree units for a while now, and the S1 is the latest in the line. They claim this one is truly handsfree, you don’t need to lift your hands off the wheel to answer, just say “OK”, “Answer” or if you’re truly a Star Trek fan “Open Hailing Frequencies” “Accept Call”.

It’s good for 800 hours of standby or for 15 hours of nattering, it works up to 10 metres from the phone and can even play A2DP if you don’t mind music (stereo?) blaring at your forehead.

The S1 can connect to two phones at the same time and will automagically answer the phone that’s ringing. It has the usual digital signal processing and echo eating functions so you won’t sound like you’re calling from the engine room of an ocean liner. They even guarantee the electronic bits (except the charger) for 2 years. Priced around $AU110.
