I quite like this Neuton CE6 battery-powered lawn mower, it’s a got a no-nonsense look about it. It’s built for business too with a 36 Volt, 10 amp battery that should last for a 1/3 acre lawn (45-60 minutes) on one charge. A full recharge takes 12 hours, it’s super-quiet and comes with a catcher bag and side discharge chute. There’s also a range of optional accessories including an edger/trimmer so you can edge while you mow, spare batteries obviously and for the baseball obsessed, a lawn striper!

The mowers are US$499 and a premium accessory pack containing a spare battery, the line trimmer and spare string is an extra US$174.95. Neuton must be pretty confident, so try one out, use it for a year and if you’re not 100% satisfied, return it. The mowers themselves have a 2 year warranty.
