PDF Pirate – lawsuit waiting to happen perhaps?

PDF Pirate looks to us like trouble brewing a-plenty. What does it do? Well apparently it removes all protection from PDF files. We haven’t tried it because we’re good boys and girls, but we’re sure that someone will spend time on there. Probably some Adobe lawyers. – free, online and no limits pdf restrictions remover

You don't need it. Just print to XPS document, then open that document and save it as a PDF. Works every time, all text/objects maintained.

No good if the pdf has printing restrictions.
