Seabreacher – the bionic dolphin gets a super cool update…

Way back in 2004 we reported on something called the Bionic Dolphin, and lookee here, it’s been upgraded, improved, shined up and glossified. The all new Seabreacher is a fast (think 40mph+) watercraft which skims and submerges on demand just like a real dolphin. The ultra cool bit is they’re now for sale, although you’ll have to mortgage the kids in order to afford the $48,000 starting price.

But dude, they feature a jet drive, can dive to 6 feet for short periods, do 20mph underwater and are unsinkable. And they come in multi colours. Awesome fun. Just watch the video to get a feel for it. Crazy!

The Seabreacher J is the latest offering by Innespace, designed exclusively for the recreational boating market. This new vessel incorporates a jet drive for increased safety and better surface performance. The J model is approved for recreational use by the US Coastguard and is able to be registered as a conventional powerboat in most countries. It is powered by a Rotax engine which is available in 155hp or 215hp supercharged variants.
