CradleVue – put that laptop to good use for the kids next time you go for the long haul

Cradlevue

It was only a matter of time before someone came up with this idea. How to hang a conventional laptop computer from the seats of a car as a multimedia entertainment centre for passengers – read rugrats – in the rear. So here it is, the CradleVue, a sophisticated and possibly only slightly complicated combination of harness and strapping, which dangles your precious laptop with screen facing the rear and keyboard ready for stop rewind action.

It’s certainly ‘ingenious’ as they say, and the idea of surfing or doing email while trapped in a fast moving vehicle does have its perverse attractions, but we’re not sure whether the lack of cool factor will hamper it’s sales success with the geeks that matter. Now if only they’d used Ninja black strapping. Anyhoo, it’s only $24.99. And you can always buy paint.

Do much more than just watch movies — play computer games or do homework while traveling. Hey — you’re bringing your notebook computer anyway to exchange e-mail, surf the web, stay in touch with work, or write the next best-selling novel, so why not put it to use during your road trip?! The CradleVue allows you to do exactly that. And once you arrive at Grandmas or the Grand Canyon, just roll it up and stow it away.
