Free PDF to Word Converter is a freeware program for…guess what…converting PDF documents to Microsoft Word format. What more is there to say? It’s beautiful looking, very fast and works like a dream. And it’s free. Download it.

Free PDF to Word Converter is an easy to use utility that does swift conversions from PDF to Word. You just need to add the file which you intend to convert into the program and click Convert. It is that easy! This program will create an exact copy of the PDF file. It will retain all graphics, fonts and formatting. It supports all versions of MS Word so that you would not have any troubles editing the converted file.

  • Has no provision to prevent it from creating files too large for MS Office to open. Would be nice if it broken larger doc files it created into smaller sections or warned you before going ahead and creating the file anyhow.

Simply refused to convert some PDFs claiming they were corrupt (they open fine in Adobe and other PDF readers). Doesn't seem to be any common thread (size, etc) , just doesn't like certain documents. Error message lack details.

Lots of converted content from sample PDFs ended up stripped of spaces between words.

Seems fine for smaller PDFs with uncomplicated formatting though. Nice for extracting raw-ish text content if you don't have a full version of Adobe Acrobat, I suppose.

  • Looks good. Will give it a shot. Thanks

Can it convert back to PDF after you edit? I have been using Smart PDF Creator for that. I bought the program but I think it also has a free version at http://www.smartpdfcreator.com/
