Flash Drive Lock – keep your data nice and safe

Flashdrivelock

The Flash Drive Lock promises to protect the data stored on your USB memory stick by securing the end against insertion into a stranger’s computer. Of course a determined villain is just going to break the combination lock, but for casual deterrence it might well work. £5.95 each.

Flash drive padlocks secure your data. A must-have for every office computer user, especially civil servants! This simple but effective device secures to the end of any standard USB memory stick. So if the stick falls into the wrong hands, your files and personal data will be protected by your own secret 3-digit code.

  1. YurekBork says:

Three aspects need to be satisfied for organizations portable protection.
    1 Centralized password management.
    2. Remote deployment of protectors to authorized portable devices.
    3. Auto encryption of all transfered files from network PC to authorized devices.(to ensure its use as don't matter how good a tool is. if employees do not use it then the organizations information remains at risk.)
Have seen only one program that is capable of of all the above and more.
