Interestingly, also on a honking great 4×4. Do you need beefed up rails to cope, or will my Volvo qualify?
And having seen the bloke and his bird get in and out, I'd say sleeping 3 might be more fun than restful. Not to mention the potential 200+kg loading.
But a great solution I do agree. Fast and easy with no flint in your spine at 3am. Maybe the 3rd wheel's elbow, mind, which could kill the romance of life under canvas atop a car:)
