RFID. Is there anything it can’t be added to? This RFID 2.5″ SATA HDD Enclosure keeps your important data safe by encrypting it. The only way to decrypt it is to wave one of the included RFID tags at it and like magic your data is good to go. After you’ve finished using it, wave your fob at it and it’s all safely locked back up again.

The enclosure can take a maximum drive size of 160Gb and it comes with 2 key fob RFID unlockers. It doesn’t say anything about the encryption standard used though so you might want to take the security claims with a grain of salt. Priced around US$16 but that doesn’t include the hard drive.
Keep your important hard disk drive contents safe from prying eyes with this amazing RFID HDD enclosure! This 2.5 Inch SATA HDD enclosure is perfect for people with sensitive data on their hard disk drives. Access to hard drive contents is only possible by passing the RFID tag over the unit thereby unlocking the data for usage.
