Random 16 Day Timer – switch it all on and off and on and off and…

This Random 16 Day Timer combines a digital timer, dusk to dawn socket and random switch in one unit. That means the thing will switch appliances, radios, lights or whatever on and off in a variety of patterns which is positively guaranteed to scare off would-be burglars. There’s even a random button which will act like a totally random thing even among all the other randomness. Try figuring that pattern out, Mr Villain. £12.95.

This simple-to-use timer offers just about any scenario you could wish for, switching your lamp, radio or other appliance on and off at different times each day, or for blocks of days or alternating days if you prefer. Press the ‘random’ button and it will also switch on your appliance for a short period at a random time between the hours of 6pm and 6am. So, unlike ordinary timers which soon reveal a set pattern, it really does make it look like someone’s home.
