Cotton Carrier – Tactical camera support

I almost did a double take when I saw this, it looked like a hacked Baby Bjorn, but no, it’s the Cotton Carrier camera system. Designed to be a holster for heavy SLR cameras and lenses, the Cotton Carrier is completely handsfree and can comfortable take up to 18lbs of camera and lens. The locking bit attaches to the tripod port and the camera hangs off the clips on the vest.

Wedding photographers can rejoice as well, as you can also get a second Cotton Carrier for your sidearm wide angle zoom. Works for the ladies too apparently. US$139 for the whole system with two camera holders.

It has been found to be exceptionally comfortable in most temperature conditions. We are confident you will find it infinitely more comfortable than any neck strap you may have tried, no matter how well padded or the material used. A neck strap concentrates all of the camera’s weight to your neck area, leaving you sore and irritated. The Cotton Carrier with its patent pending design evenly distributes that weight throughout your shoulders, so the 10 – 50 lbs. of camera weight you may carry is virtually unnoticeable.
