Fuchiview PPP01 Pico Projector – world’s first AA battery powered pocket projector

Fuchiviewpico_projectorppp1

They’re saying that this PPP01 Fuchiview Pico Projector is the world’s first to run off standard old AA batteries instead of rechargeable cells, which is pretty neat. There’s something reassuring about being able to dash into a nearby shop for some more batteries when your gadget dies, as I proved the other day out and about filming with a Flip HD. Yeah I know it’s not very eco, but sometimes – and with some products – convenience matters.

Bearing in mind that this type of projector probably has value on long haul flights, the same thing could apply here. Anyway, it looks pretty funky, comes with a speaker, 1 GB of on-board memory, SD card slot and will run for up to 6 hours on one set of 4 AA batteries. No idea on price.

PPP01 is the world first handheld projector use Alkaline AA battery, 4~6 hours for Multimedia play back work time by battery. It’s used 3M Color Sequential projection engine. This pocket size multimedia projector has video, photo play back function and built-in 1GB internal memory which transfer data via mini USB port.
