Olapic – Wedding photo collector

Back when we got married, way back in the pre-digital photo age, we had a disposable camera on every table at the reception. That gave us a bunch of great, and not-so-great candids that really added to the memories. Olapic is doing something similar in the digital age.

Olapic is basically a website that allows your wedding guests to upload their photos of your wedding so you can share them and arrange them into a photobook, or get them printed some other way. Sure you could use Facebook but the prints are hardly photo printing quality and Olapic claims their bulk uploader is much easier to use and they have better privacy settings. For US$99 they give you unlimited space for your photos for a year and 100 reminder cards. There’s also a free trial version that lets you upload 100 photos and manage them.

You have prepared the perfect wedding, and you have hired a professional photographer that will be in charge of taking wonderful and must-have pictures. B ut your guests will be bringing their cameras too, and they’ll take fun and unique pictures. Don’t you want to get these as well?
