I like good design, really I do. I appreciate that people can look at something that’s been around for years, and with a few deft strokes of a pen, conjure up something simpler, better and prettier. It takes skill, practice and training, and when it’s done properly it can change the world.

I can see hazard when you leave the candle alone for a moment just before it consumes the matchbox and then your house in flames.
That’s a great idea with poor execution. Why didn’t they just make a nice (glass) candle holder with a slot for the matches (or a small lighter)?
