Running Google Wave inside your Thunderbird email client – v. cool

Googlewavethunderbirdhack

Here’s a lovely little hack to get Google Wave running in a tab inside your Thunderbird email client. Why? To make it more easily accessible of course. Still not 100% about the usefulness of Wave, but willing to live with this a while and see where it goes.

Among Thunderbird 3’s new features is Content Tabs, a way to monitor other web sites and web-based messaging from inside Thunderbird. The Quetzalcoatal blog hacked together a little code that opens Wave cleanly and conveniently inside one of these tabs, and even keeps it open after you restart Thunderbird.
