Scoring Karaoke – Sharpen your flats

Yo. SingStar. How’s your pitch? No, your singing pitch. Well grab one of these Scoring Karaoke wireless mic sets and test your mettle. Plug the box into the TV and croon along with Frankie, trip along with the Beatles or swing with the King, one hundred songs in all. The wireless mic keeps track of your singing and even records it so you can play it back later on a PC for an in-depth analysis. You can also upload new songs via SD card. US$199.95 from Hammacher.

This is the only karaoke microphone that detects the pitch of each note you sing. It has 100 songs programmed into its memory, allowing you to sing along with songs played through your television–scoring mode will display your performance as being too high or too low in pitch.
