Drop Stop – brilliant solution to the number one motorist peeve

Dropstop

If you own a car, at some point in your life you’ve dropped money, keys, phones or something else icky down the gap between the front seat and the centre console. Oh yes you have, don’t lie. The Drop Stop, invented by Marc and Jeffrey is a flexible universal fitting neoprene filler which slots between the seat to prevent anything falling down the gap. Oh so simple. Effective? Dunno, but it’s a brilliant idea and if it does work deserves to make the inventors rich and happy. $19.95.

80% of all accidents and 93% of all rear end accidents are caused by taking your eyes off the road for 3 seconds or less. Trying to retrieve items dropped in the gap can cause you to lose focus and possibly get into an accident and nobody wants that to happen. Drop Stop not only helps prevents objects from falling, it could help save your life. “Think you don’t need one? Wait a week.”

  • Great idea. I just rolled up some sheet rubber I had and put it in both cars. Thanks.

    • Wow, saved yourself $19.95. Awesome.

    • Yeah, that'll allow me to give more to the Salvation Army.

  • I love my Drop Stops but they don't sit as nicely as in that picture… they keep coming up out of the gap.
