JVC RV-NB50 Kaboom – Your iPod never sounded so good

If your iPod loudspeaker is lacking some oomph, the JVC RV-NB50 Kaboom should help. It’s a 40W boom box with subwoofers at each end. Your iPod is tucked in securely behind a weatherproof door and there’s a CD player and FM radio to keep you entertained when you’ve run out of podcasts. US$649.99 from AudioCubes.

The JVC Kaboom is back. The new RV-NB50 Kaboom boasts 40 watts of power and retains the original’s general design – a large cylindrical shape with a woofer at each end. Bass enhancement circuitry ensures room-rattling low frequency performance.
