Eco Water Clock – just add water to travel through time

Ecowaterclock

This Eco Water Clock is basic to the extreme, but maybe that’s the future of eco utility? Fill the two containers with water and sit back as the time appears on the LCD. Small print – the electrodes will only operate in water for 2 years, after which you’ll need to throw away the clock or work out how to replace the electrodes. Not quite so eco after all then? £4.99.

The new technology of combining water power to everyday household items such as the digital clock, stimulates a basic battery concept where two electrodes are immersed in water. An electrochemical reaction takes place as soon as the electrodes are immersed resulting in the production of an electrical charge.
