Kideos – Kidsized YouTube

Image

One of the best things about the ‘Net is that it stops you plonking your kids down in front of the television for hours at a time, instead you can sit them in front of YouTube and follow [insert children’s television show character here]-related video links for hours at a time. Unfortunately that does lead you, on occasion, to some not-kidsafe content.

Kideos provides a subset of YouTube selected by a panel of parents, where each video has been deemed kid-safe and classified by age group or by categories such as cute animals, superheroes, fairy tales – you get the drift. It’s free and doesn’t require registration but if you register you get to save your favourites, and additional safe browsing by removing external YouTube “related video” links.

Kideos is the premier destination for kids to safely watch videos online. Each video on Kideos has been screened by our Video Advisory Council before it makes it onto our site. Our goal is to empower parents to feel comfortable allowing their child to spend time on Kideos, while also making sure children have a thoroughly entertaining experience.
