StreamTransport – freeware lets you download Hulu programs to watch at your leisure

StreamTransport is a new freeware program which lets you download programs from Hulu, MTV, CBS, YouTube and various other video content sites for offline viewing at your leisure. Kind of like your own web video DVR. You’d better grab hold of it fast though, because you can bet your sofa that the owners of Lost, 24 and the rest of the blockbuster programming cash cows aren’t going to sit still and let the world download this valuable stuff to their hard drives.

Still, it’s here now and it works, surprisingly enough. It’s not fast, our test showed it would take several hours to download a single television episode, but for many people speed is not an issue. Once you’ve downloaded the video you can also convert it into different formats suitable for handheld devices or whatever you need. Oh and if you want you can watch while you download. Miraculous!

This FLV Downloader is capable of downloading almost any video and audio file you can play online so that you can turn numerous online video and audio into your own collection. The videos will be saved as FLV or MP4 format in your media library and a powerful player is inlaid for you to play them back freely.
